Informarion document in accordance to European Regulation Europeo of personal data treatment (Regolation UE 679/2016 - GDPR).  Gesea Solution Group® (from now Gesea) engages to protect the privacy of its users and to defend personal data collected in compliance to GDPR. We provide information on the purposes and methods of treatment of your personal data, on the scope of communication and dissemination of them, on the nature of data in our possession and on their contribution.

Information is also given to those that interactive with Company’s web services, which are accessible electronically on http://www.geseagroup.com that is the homepage of Company’s website.

Information is given only for the previous website and not also for other website that may be consulted by the user through link. This is an information that is given in accordance to art. 13 of GDPR 2016/679 and is also inspired to Directive 2002/58/CE, as updated by Directive 2009/139/CE, on Cookies as well as the Provision of Authority for the protection of personal data dated 08.05.2014 related to cookies.

In this webpage will describe the modalities of personal data’s manage acquired through this website (log and cookies) and other related services, which provide the interaction with the user such as in reaction to the registration at newsletter service (http://www.geseagroup.com/en/default.asp?page=US902&sec=Newsletter).

General Information:

Users are informed of the following general profiles, valid for all areas of the treatment:

  • all data are processed lawfully, correctly and transparently with regard to data subject, in compliance to general principles established by art. 5 GDPR
  • specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.

Types of data processed and purpose of processing:

Personal data provided by users are processed within the normal activity of Gesea in order to reply to question and requests expressed by sending email by this website; data will be used to maintain relations with data subject and will be communicated to third parties only if this is necessary (shipping material, answer to question, newsletter, etc.).

Users’s data acquired by browsing on website of Data controller are used only to have anonymous statistical information on the use of website and to check to correct operation (through the application ShinyStat). Data could also used for the verification of responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the website.

Those data are processed exclusively by internal staff trained in personal data protection and will be not disclosed to third parties, disseminated or transferred to non EU countries.

Only in the case of an investigation they can be made available to the competent authorities. Data are usually kept for short periods, with the exception of any extensions connected to investigations. Data are not given by the data subject but acquired automatically by the technological systems.
As for the data acquired through subscription to the newsletter service, only the name, surname and email are requested for the sole purpose of sending the newsletter. Registration is subject to acceptance of specific, free and informed consent. Data are processed exclusively by staff who have been trained in the treatment. Data will not be disclosed or transferred I non-EU countries. Data are kept until any 'dis-enrollment', freely available at any time. Failure to provide the email address, name and surname will make it impossible to obtain the newsletter service.

Data acquired through access to the 'Contacts' section allows at data subject to request a contact to Gesea.

Are required data identification and contact data necessary to respond to the contact requests of the interested parties. The submission of the request is subject to the specific, free and informed consent (GDPR - Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a). Data are processed exclusively by staff regularly trained in the treatment (GDPR - Art. 29). Data will not be disclosed or transferred to non-EU countries. Data are kept for times compatible with the purpose of the collection. The provision of data related to the mandatory fields is necessary to obtain an answer.

Finally, data acquired through access to the 'Work with us' section allows the data subject to send his / her spontaneous curriculum to the company e-mail address in order to make a possible cognitive interview. The profile will be filed in the database of the Company and will be evaluated by its experts for the selection of personnel in progress. If the profile meets the current business needs, the interested party will be contacted for an interview at the Company headquarters. Data will be processed exclusively by staff regularly trained in the treatment (GDPR - Art. 29). Data will not be disclosed or transferred to non-EU countries. The sender who sends his curriculum remains the unique responsible for the relevance and accuracy of the data sent. It should be noted that any curricula without authorization to process data will be immediately deleted. Data are kept for times compatible with the purpose of the collection. Please refer to the Privacy Policy section for consenting to the processing of your personal data. Access to the 'Reserved Area' is reserved for customers who have been assigned appropriate access credentials (user and password) for the administration of internet services and for access via browser to their e-mail boxes.

Methods of treatment:

The treatment will be performed with the help of the means and information systems at our disposal; these data are processed by the specific subjects of our Company. We inform you that your personal data, voluntarily provided, constantly are updated in our database with those that you provide to inform us.

Scope of communication and dissemination of data in our possession:

Your data in our possession will be stored in our Company and will be known only by those in charge and trained in the field of personal data protection. These data will therefore not be disclosed to third parties or communicated outside our Group. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail and / or ordinary mail to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

Browsing data:

Generally during normal surfing in Internet some personal data may be implicitly collected, such as IP addresses or domain names of computers and other parameters related to the operating system and the user's computer system (addresses in URI - Uniform Resource Identifier notation). These data are NOT used by Gesea if not anonymously and only to obtain statistics for visiting its website.


No personal data of users is acquired by the website. We don’t use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature, nor we use cookies c.d. profiling cookies and / or tracking users. The use of session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is not carried out by this site. The session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other technologies that could compromise the privacy of users' browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data. The website www.geseagroup.com uses the so-called social media plug-ins ('Plugin') of the social network Linkedin, of Youtube and Skype. In order to improve the protection of users' personal data during the use of Company website, these Plug-ins are integrated only through an html link to the respective profiles that Gesea has with the aforementioned Social or applications.

Nature of transfer

The provision of data is optional and any refusal doesn’t imply any consequences for the data subject except the impossibility for Gesea to provide the request services.

Right of interested parties:

The interested party to whom are referred personal data has the right at any time to exercise all the rights provided for by the articles 15-21 of GDPR (right of access, obtaining confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data and to know its content and origin, rectification, integration or updating, deleting, limitation, portability, opposition), as well as revoke a previously granted consent; in case of failure to respond to their requests, the interested parties can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (GDPR - Article 13, paragraph 2, letter d) by sending an email. The request of the interested parties must be addressed to the data controller at the address indicated or by e-mail to the info@geseagroup.com

At Data protection Officer (DPO) can be contacted to exercise all the rights provided in articles 15-21 of GDPR (right of access, rectification, cancellation, revocation, limitation, portability, opposition), as well as revoke a previously granted consent; in case of failure to reply to their requests, the interested parties can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (GDPR - Article 13, paragraph 2, letter d). The updated list of data treatment responsibles and persons in charge is kept at the registered office of the data holder.

It should be noted that this information may be subject to periodic review, also in relation to relevant legislation and jurisprudence. In the event of significant changes, appropriate evidence will be given in the home-page of the website for a suitable time.
